Consent &
Safety
Noble Mountain Healing / Casa de Vida Nueva
At Noble Mountain Healing, your safety, dignity, and spiritual well-being are our highest priority. Our work is grounded in reverence for God, respect for His creation, and deep responsibility for each person who entrusts themselves to this process. Because we work with powerful indigenous tools, legally and ethically, informed consent and safety are essential.
1. Informed Consent
Before participating in any session, ceremony, or retreat, each guest must review and sign our Informed Consent Form. This ensures you understand:
-
The nature and purpose of the tools we use (Bufo Alvarius, Kambo, Hapé, psilocybin in some cases).
-
Potential physical, emotional, or spiritual effects.
-
The voluntary nature of participation.
-
The right to pause, stop, or refuse any part of the process at any time.
-
That these experiences are not medical treatment, not psychotherapy, and not a cure, but spiritual, experiential practices rooted in God’s creation.
2. Safety Screening & Health Review
We conduct a thorough verbal and written intake to ensure safety, including:
-
Medical history
-
Medications (especially antidepressants, antipsychotics, heart medications)
-
Allergies
-
Mental-health history
-
Past trauma or spiritual concerns
We reserve the right to decline participation if safety cannot be guaranteed.
3. Our Role & Our Boundaries
We are not shamans, not occult practitioners, and not affiliated with new-age practices.
We are Christian practitioners trained in the safe administration of these tools within the legal and ethical limits of the regions we serve.
We do not:
-
Diagnose medical or psychiatric conditions
-
Give medical advice
-
Replace therapy, counseling, or clinical treatment
-
Guarantee outcomes
-
Push or pressure participation
We do:
-
Create spiritually grounded spaces
-
Pray privately for wisdom and guidance
-
Offer encouragement, words of knowledge, and loving support
-
Assist with integration
4. Legal Use of Medicines
-
Bufo Alvarius is administered only in regions where it is fully legal, such as the Sonoran Desert of Arizona and legally permitted areas in Yucatán.
-
Kambo is legal in the United States and Mexico.
-
Hapé (Rapé) is a legal traditional Amazonian tobacco snuff.
-
Psilocybin may be included only where legally permitted and at the practitioner’s discretion.
Guests are responsible for knowing their local laws if traveling with any personal items (we do not provide anything to travel with).
5. Physical Safety & Monitoring
During ceremonies and detox processes:
-
A trained practitioner is present at all times.
-
We monitor physical and emotional responses closely.
-
Hydration, electrolytes, rest, and safe pacing are emphasized.
-
We maintain strict cleanliness and safe-use protocols.
You may stop the process at any time without judgment.
6. Emotional & Spiritual Safety
We foster an environment rooted in:
-
Confidentiality
-
Respect
-
Non-judgment
-
Christ-centered love
-
Personal autonomy
We encourage every participant to listen to the Holy Spirit and honor their own boundaries.
7. Aftercare & Integration
Integration includes:
-
Guided reflection
-
Gentle conversation
-
Words of knowledge or encouragement
-
Space to process in peace
-
Post-retreat support if needed
No one is ever rushed or minimized in their experience.
8. Voluntary Participation
By participating, each guest affirms:
-
I am choosing voluntarily.
-
I may stop at any time.
-
I understand this is spiritual and experiential, not medical treatment.
-
I have disclosed my health history truthfully.
-
I release Noble Mountain Healing from liability related to nondisclosure or misuse of information
